At the CER IND Tarapacá High Performance Center, the members of the Weightlifting Team were congratulated who, after participating in the Promesas Chile national tournament, achieved the vice-championship for women’s children and 10 best technical marks of the contest.

The athletes received congratulations from the Seremi del Deporte, Vania Llantén Moreno, the regional director IND Hernán Muñoz and the president of the LCM Tarapacá Weightlifting Association, Zia Ul Haq; who expressed their satisfaction with the performance of the weightlifters in the event that brought together the best national exponents of the discipline.

On the occasion, the trophy obtained by the members of the children’s category was displayed, who with their lifts in the clean and jerk, snatch and Olympic total placed them in second place in Chile. Likewise, the performance of Antonia Ramos, school club, stood out. Centenary; Naomy Lozano, CODE Iquique club; Abel Pérez, Liceo Politécnico and Marco King from Liceo Humberstone; which were in the top ten of the best technical brands of the Promesas Chile IND program.

With the performance exhibited in the capital, the group is optimistic about improving its brands and reaching the first places in the international event Liga Integración Sudamericana, which will have competitors from Argentina, Peru, Bolivia and Chile on June 22 and 23, on the stage that will be installed at the Centenario school.
