The contents of the diploma include legal, theoretical and practical tools for accompaniment in situations of gender violence. The modules cover: 1. Gender and Human Rights Perspective; 2. Gender Violence; 3. Law and Justice with a Gender Perspective; 4. Social Mandates and New Masculinities; 5. Mental Health and Problematic Consumption; 6. Intersectionalities and Accessibility; 7. Gender Policies and Management Models; 8. Community Accompaniers and Local Movements.

The president of the Provincial Council of Women, Lourdes Navarro, highlighted that “from the Government of the Province and with the political decision of Governor Carlos Sadir, we continue to work hard to prevent and eradicate the violence that is exercised against women and people of sexual diversity. “. Regarding the Diploma, he commented that “with this training proposal we are also fulfilling a felt need, which arose in the 1st Forum of Gender Areas of the Municipalities “Jujuy Igualitario” held in the month of May with the presence of 38 Municipalities and Commissions Municipal; which will allow representatives of these areas to deepen knowledge and generate public policies in each locality, but the possibility of it being an open proposal was also considered for all people in the Province who are interested in training and contributing to prevention and eradicate gender violence can do so. Eradicating violence is a commitment that requires the entire society.”

Regarding the coordination to guarantee this Diploma, Navarro thanked the Secretary of Women of the Province of Córdoba, Claudia Martínez, “with whom we met regarding a regional meeting organized together with UN Women and we talked about different lines of action, including which is the opening to this Diploma for our Province.” On the occasion, Lourdes Navarro also thanked the National University of Jujuy. In this regard, she said that the commitment of the Vice-Rector, Liliana Bergesio, as well as the head of the Interdisciplinary Area of ​​Women and Gender Studies, Liliana Louys, and the entire team is essential to guarantee the conditions of in-person courses. “We hope that this link can continue to be strengthened over time through other lines of action focused on teaching, research and extension,” she concluded.
