Oscar Ferreyra Font, a 32-year-old man from Villa Dolores, was found dehydrated on the side of a stream near the town of Tala Huasi. Font had been missing for four days and was intensively searched in the Villa Carlos Paz area after the complaint filed by his sister.

The discovery occurred this Saturday, after neighbors reported seeing Font disoriented near Icho Cruz. These testimonies guided the rescue teams, which searched the area with the participation of the Villa Carlos Paz Prosecutor’s Office.

Commissioner Sergio Chávez, from the Fire Department of the Córdoba Police, explained that Font was found on the road to Estancia Cáceres, a rural area with difficult access with native forest. “He was on the side of a stream, with a high level of dehydration,” he explained.

After being stabilized, Font was transferred to a nearby facility in Tala Huasi, where doctors also detected high blood pressure. Given this situation, he was referred to the Gumersindo Sayago hospital in Carlos Paz for better evaluation and treatment.

The rescue operation, which lasted two hours in a rural area with difficult access, involved members of the Police Firefighters, Volunteer Firefighters, the Technical Disaster Action Team (Etac), the Rural Patrol and personnel from the Punilla Department.
