The 10 facilities that Campismo Popular has in Holguín are preparing to receive more than 60 thousand vacationers in the months of July and August, who plan to enjoy the options of this type of tourism in direct contact with the natural environment where they are. located.
According to Carlos Toledo Armas, general director of the Camping Company in the territory, this figure includes campers who stay at the facilities, hikers who go on so-called day passes and other activity offers.
The manager adds that Campismo does not escape the current context that the country faces, worsened by the Economic Blockade, but alternatives are sought through links with other actors in the economy, for the acquisition of resources and thus provide attractive offers to the customers.
He also said that they are currently immersed in a maintenance process to improve the facilities, in addition to new investments, such as the Campismo Playa Caletones in the municipality of Gibara, which plans to begin with a first phase of services this summer season.
