As is traditional, tomorrow the annual session that the Academy of History of the Güemesiano Institute of Salta organizes will be held on the occasion of the new anniversary of the death of General Martín Miguel de Güemes.
On the occasion, the academic with seat number 7 “Ricardo Rojas”, Mr. Martín Miguel Güemes Arruabarrena, will speak first. He will do it about: “Dr. Manuel Antonio Castro (1772/1832), teacher of Güemes and friend of Belgrano, his intellectual influence in the struggles for freedom and independence.”
Secondly, and to conclude the session, the president of the entity, academic with seat number 2 “Benita Campos”, Lilia Fanny Pérez, will speak, who will speak about: “Martín Güemes, Autonomous Governor of the Province of Salta (1815 /1821).
