Damas de Fuego leads social processes in the Tabio Fire Department, Cundinamarca

From now on, a group of women called Fire Ladies Society will lead social and community processes in Tabio Fire Department, Cundinamarca.

On June 13, the creation of the Ladies of Fire Societyin an act led by the Tabio Volunteer Fire Department, the municipal mayor Carlos Javier Julio Torres, and the departmental delegate of the Cundinamarca Fire Department, Captain Álvaro Eduardo Farfán.

The women or Ladies of Fire will henceforth lead all the social and community processes that the Tabio Fire Department has been developing, actively integrating into activities of the institution.

With the inclusion of this group of women in firefighting work, we are committed to gender equality and strengthening the social and community work that firefighters have been carrying out, as well as the initiatives and projects in this aspect.

For Captain Álvaro Farfán, departmental delegate of the Cundinamarca Fire Department, the creation of the Ladies of Fire means exalt female leadership and bet on a more equitable society.
