The Gualeguaychú team won 71-62 against River at the Mâs Monumental Microstadium and was awarded the first point of the Federal League conference quarterfinal series.
El Millonario had a great start to the match, showing a good level of play and gaining an early and important advantage. However, Central Entrerriano had a quick response and, as the minutes passed, balanced the score.
After a first half that ended 39-35 in favor of the local team, Central Entrerriano improved its performance and became the dominator of the match. Taking advantage of the imprecise moment of Núñez’s team, the visitor became strong in their game and this was reflected on the scoreboard. In this way, they were able to obtain an important margin in favor to end the match with a victory.
Next Monday the second leg will be played in Entre Ríos.
