The province issued more than 800 digital titles and marked the definitive end of printed paper – General Council of Education

This transition meant the complete cessation of the issuance of paper money titles by the General Council of Education (CGE).

Recently, the CGE delivered the remaining paper money to the Official Gazette for destruction. A total of 12 bundles, each with 250 papers, which represented the surplus of the last series of paper destined for the preparation of titles. With this action, the printed title system ended in the province.

“We have been incorporating updated, modern and digital procedures, designed to facilitate and streamline administrative areas, as well as to guarantee the safety of those who graduate,” highlighted the director of Human Resources of the CGE, Mirta Camusso, and added that “in this line the Department of Legalization and Validity of Titles, carried out both in-person and virtual training, aimed at all establishments that issue titles in digital format.”

The training spaces concluded in May, ensuring that all departments are prepared for the development of digital degrees.

It is worth noting that the degrees issued in the new digital format have security measures that guarantee their authenticity, thus protecting the rights of graduates and facilitating their job placement or educational continuity. In this sense, depaperization has been a success throughout the province, marking a significant step towards modernization and security in the Entre Ríos educational system.
