A day of pure emotion and basketball was lived in Vicente López with a new stop of The 3×3 League. In the middle of the quarterfinals of the National League, a new date for the 2024 season of the discipline was developed. And on this occasion, and as part of the preparation for the Nations League that will take place next month in Mexico, the event (held on the Platense field) featured the participation of the Argentine U23 team.
Seven teams participated in this edition and were divided into two groups. In “A” the host, Obras Basket, Argentina Celeste and San Lorenzo were placed, while in “B” Atlético Pilar, Argentina Blanco and Ferro were placed.
After an arduous group stage, Argentina Blanco and Obras Basket faced each other in the semifinals, with the former winning 21-7. In the other key, Atlético Pilar fell to Argentina Celeste 21-10. And in an extremely close final, Argentina Blanco took the victory by 18 to 16.
This is how a new stop of this 2024 season ended. For the first time, Vicente López hosted this enormous national basketball community that is growing more and more, and is experiencing days of intense activity not only with the National League playoffs, but also, with the development of La Liga 3×3. The action will continue with two new stops in the semifinal stages and a grand final during the definition of the highest category of national basketball.
