The stage, the seven rains and final in Tocancipá
The route of the second stage of the Vuelta a Colombia is the traditional seven rains, as cyclists call it because of the climate of the region. Departure from Paipa, to pass through Tunja, Ventaquemada, Villapinzón, Chocontá, Gachancipá and Tocancipá where it ended.

With 19 kilometers to go, the advantage of the escapees was 1:21.
The last kilometers were crucial for the packers to be located, however, the platoon of leader Rodrigo Contreras could not agree to reach the breakaway that was going to achieve the feat. But it wasn’t like that, they were caught 13 kilometers away.
Definition of the second stage of the Vuelta
The compact peloton defined the last kilometers with Sistecredito pulling with almost all of its runners. The continental team wanted to position itself well to send Kevin Castillo away. But close to them were Orgullo Paisa and Petrolike as well.
Also the NU and the GW Shimano were close to Sistecrédito and it was the latter who won the finish line with Alejandro Osorio, who after the first stage, wanted the stage win.
El Pony won a stage that ultimately ended in a sprint, but it was not for the sprinters who arrived in the group with no options to compete in the fraction. In second place, to complete the GW exhibition, came Adrián Bustamante and in third, Jhonatan Chaves from NU. The leader of the race, Rodrigo a Contreras, was fourth.
In the general Contreras is still the leader, Camargo is second at 42 seconds, Bustamante is third at 46, Wilson Peña is fourth at 1:01 and Javier Jamaica is fifth at 1 minute and two seconds.
Third stage of the Vuelta a Colombia
The third stage of the Vuelta a Colombia will leave the municipality of Cota in Cundinamarca and arrive at Mariquita in Tolima. There will be partial closure of the road between the municipalities of Cota and the Siberia roundabout this Monday, June 17, from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm
The route of the third stage will be Cota – Siberia – El Rosal – Alto del Vino – La Vega – Villeta – Guaduas – Honda – Mariquitaabout 168.6 kilometers.
