Capital broadcasts the start of the 2024 season of the Colombian GP

On Sunday, June 16, from 12 noon. in Capital, We will broadcast the start of the 2024 season of the Colombian Motovelocity GP – Vitrix Grand Prix (first valid), which will take place at the Tocancipá Autodrome. The largest motorcycle event in our country welcomes more than 700 riders on the track who will compete to define the best.

In the competition we will be able to enjoy several Moto GP teams and different brands that will be the heart of the motorcycling event. In addition, different versions, including Cuatrimotard and Mini Bike 190.

David Alonso, the 18-year-old Colombian rider, has once again left his mark in the Moto3 World Championship by obtaining his fifth victory of the season in the Grand Prix of Catalonia, held at the iconic Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. This victory not only consolidates him as one of the most promising drivers in the category, but also allows him to increase his advantage over his main rival: Daniel Holgado.

The race at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya was a test by fire for Alonso, who faced some of the best young talents in motorcycling.. From the first laps, Alonso demonstrated his skill by staying in the lead and defending his position bravely. His ability to handle pressure and make strategic decisions at crucial moments was evident when he managed to overtake Holgado on the final lap, securing his fifth victory of the season.

With this victory, Alonso not only took first place in Catalonia, but also extended his lead in the general classification over Daniel Holgado. TOAlonso currently has 37 points and leads the championship with a difference of 20 points over Holgado, who has been his closest competitor throughout the season. This advantage provides Alonso with a strong strategic position heading into the final races of the championship.
