The construction of a modern and spacious headquarters for the Government of Córdoba is one of the key projects that the departmental administration has among its plans. The building, which will have an area of 20 thousand square meters, seeks to offer adequate spaces not only for the Government offices, but also to centralize various services in the same place.

This was announced by Governor Erasmo Zuleta Bechara in a recent interview, where he announced that the bidding for the studies and designs of this new headquarters has already been opened.

“The tender for the new administrative headquarters of the department’s government has already gone out, which will have space for community members, municipal youth councilors and other representations,” the president detailed.

The current headquarters of the Government, approximately 50 years old, no longer meets the space and modernity needs required by the department. Therefore, the new building is projected as a long-term solution. “We already need a series that is up to par, not only for the people of Córdoba, but also for the country,” Zuleta emphasized.

The lot where the new headquarters will be built is located between the Tacasuán sector and the San Jerónimo hospital, in an area that the Government has designated for this purpose. The construction of the new judicial branch building is also planned there, thus forming an important citizen service center.

“Without a doubt, this new headquarters of the department’s government must be under construction for another year by this date,” the governor pointed out.
