The National Police, through the operations it has been carrying out in Riohacha to guarantee citizen security, captured two men in the last few hours. One of them was captured for traveling on a stolen motorcycle and the other for trafficking alkaloids.

The police actions began on Carrera 7 and Calle 13, Libertador neighborhood, during the plans to request background information, Jeferson Smith Ibarra Cueto, 25 years old, was captured by reception. This individual was driving a Bajaj brand motorcycle, Boxer CT-100 line, black, IPL43G plate, model 2023, which has a current immobilization order for theft, issued by the Local Prosecutor’s Office 01 Management, Alert and Early Classification Unit of the city ​​of Riohacha. The events were recorded on May 18, 2024.

The second case occurred on 14D Street with 14D Street, Nuevo Horizonte neighborhood. In this place, the police managed to capture Víctor Jesús Choles Mejía, 28 years old, in flagrante delicto. After conducting a personal search, 60 transparent plastic bags were found, each of which contained cocaine hydrochloride.

This person was placed at the disposal of the Uri Prosecutor’s Office in Riohacha for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing and carrying narcotics.
