The Municipality of La Banda, through the Secretariat of Public Services, details how the different areas will work given the proximity of the holidays of June 17, 20 and 21, for which a work plan was established with minimum guards to ensure cleaning in the city.

Regarding the sweeping and waste collection service, it will be carried out with minimal guards and the lifting of containers on a regular basis.

The Parks and Walks Directorate will work with branch lifting, raking and weeding services with reduced guards.

The Irrigation Department will carry out its task on Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. From the fumigation area, work will be carried out as usual from Monday the 17th to Friday the 21st.

On the other hand, it is reported that the Mercado Unión will remain closed on Monday the 17th and Thursday the 20th, while on Friday the 21st it will be attended as normal.

In relation to the Misericordia Cemetery, it is reported that it will be open during its usual hours during holidays, providing the corresponding services to the community.

It is worth remembering that on Monday, June 17, the “Step to Immortality of General Martín Miguel de Güemes” is celebrated; On Thursday the 20th, “Flag Day” is commemorated in Argentina, in honor of its creator, Manuel Belgrano, who died on that date in 1820.

In order to promote an extended weekend, the National Government decreed that Friday the 21st will be a long weekend holiday.

The Municipality of La Banda recommends taking into account the limited municipal services during these holidays and collaborating with the preservation of cleanliness in public spaces.
