The event, which took place in Iquique this weekend of the week, was the result of a strategic alliance between the Collahuasi Foundation, the Iquique Municipal Sports Corporation and the Chilean Volleyball Federation.

The Chilean duos made up of cousins ​​Marco and Esteban Grimalt, along with Noé Aravena and Vicente Droguett, defeated the two trans-Andean duos composed of the brothers Nicolás and Tomás Capogrosso, and Maciel Bueno with Bautista Amieva.

The Grimalt cousins ​​closed the day of this qualifying tournament in a “golden set” that concluded 15-11 in favor of Chile, leaving a final score of 3-2, which meant the defeat of the representative of Argentina made up of Bautista Amieva and Maciel Bueno .
