Previously, the president of the National Assembly of People’s Power of Cuba (parliament), Esteban Lazo, congratulated Prensa Latina for reaching six and a half decades of life, the news agency reported.
Lazo recognized the fidelity of its professionals to the legacy of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, and the Argentine-Cuban guerrilla Ernesto Che Guevara, who were its main promoters.
At the celebration event for the date, held on Friday, the president of Prensa Latina, Luis Enrique González, assured that PL fights battles against disinformation, in the midst of media campaigns by communication monopolies, intelligence organizations and governments. interested in silencing her.
