A woman fell into the river after losing control of her car on a bridge in Córdoba. The event occurred during the morning of this Sunday in the town of Río Tercero. The young woman was unharmed, but her car ended up flipped into the waterway.
Around 10:30, the 24-year-old driver was driving her Ford K vehicle through the Intendente Ferrero neighborhood, which is located in the aforementioned town in Córdoba. At one point, the young woman identified as Candela Menichetti lost control of the car and fell from a bridge into the bed of the Ctalamochita River.
Despite the incident, Menichetti managed to get out of the car with his dog and both are out of danger. However, the authorities transferred the woman to the “Brigadier Gral. Juan B. Bustos” Río Tercero Provincial Hospital, where they confirmed that she had no injuries.
Members of the local Fire Department are working at the scene to try to remove the vehicle, which was left upside down in the river. At the moment, the reasons why the young woman ended up getting lost are unknown.
