A 16 year old teenager He argued with a 22-year-old man over the return of a cell phone, which had apparently been stolen, and they ended up fighting. However, in the middle of the violent sequence, the minor ended up murdering to the other boy. He was detained.

The dramatic episode occurred this weekend in a plaza located at 2800 General Heredia Street, in the town of Sarandí, Avellaneda district. According to what was reported by investigators, the victim, identified as Benjamín, was quickly transferred to the local hospital, but he arrived lifeless.

According to judicial spokespersons Chronicleeverything was triggered by the alleged theft of a cell phone. The 16-year-old boy demanded that the 22-year-old return the device, but the situation escalated.

In this context, they began to fight until the eldest of them fell unconscious to the ground. The neighbors immediately alerted the police and an ambulance attended the scene.

The young man was rushed to the Doctor Pedro Fiorito Interzonal General Acute Hospital, but he arrived lifeless. The doctors confirmed that he had blood on his head that was the result of the blows, but they were unable to save him.

The troops immediately launched an operation to find the attacker and after carrying out the corresponding investigations, they found the teenager. The boy was left arrestedbut now investigators are trying to establish whether his relatives also participated in the fight.

After being interviewed by the Police, the neighborhood residents assured that both young people lived in the area, so they will seek to determine if they already knew each other.

The case was classified, preventively, as “homicide”. Functional Unit No. 5 and the Youth Guarantees Court No. 3 of the aforementioned jurisdiction intervened in the case.
