DNP reaffirms commitments to the CRIC
The director of National Planning Department (DNP), Alexander López Mayatogether with authorities from the Regional Indigenous Council of Cauca (CRIC), renewed commitments of the Colombian State with indigenous communities during the XXVII session of the Joint Commission.
The meeting took place at Intercultural Indigenous Autonomous University of Popayán where, in addition, 24 government entities and ministries presented the budget execution to satisfy the commitments made, which already reaches 34% execution.
“The document agreed upon between the government and the CRIC included the CRIC proposal for $426,934 million, and partially agreed on the 2025 action plan of the Second Four-Year Plan for a value of $238,688 million, in accordance with the disaggregation presented by the National Government on June 14, 2024” reported the DNP in a press release.
The meetings will continue on Friday, June 21 and Thursday, June 27, when the agreements with the CRIC will be designed to be executed in the next term.
