In a new day of “Domingo de Pilas”, the interim mayor of the capital, Alexandra Daniela Cid González reported that 236 neighborhoods have been favored with this emblematic program of the City Council, to which this time the Torres del Santuario subdivision.

In a brief intervention before the day of recovery of the space occupied by the area called “Rafael Nieto garden”the municipal president considered it essential to build peace with activities in which citizens and the capital’s authorities join forces.
In the aforementioned green area Trees that were already dry and at risk were removed, but they were immediately replaced with reforestation actions.in addition to formative pruning and planting more vegetation to create a xeriscape.
Councilor Martha Orta Rodríguez took the opportunity to propose the creation of a mural for the centenary of the Father’s Day celebration, which would include a monument.

Among other tasks carried out in the area, the improvement of public lighting, cleaning of graffiti, in addition to the removal of wiring.
The neighbors took advantage of the presence of the municipal authorities to expose various problems, both unsafety like shortage of drinking wateramong others.
Likewise, the DIF Capitalino offered residents of this area the emblematic Health Route with free medical and dental services, while also, with Puerta Violeta, they advised and assisted women who approached the installed module.
