There are more than 32 people trapped by landslides on the Manizales-Murillo road. This situation occurred in the Los Nevados National Natural Park, which was reported by the Caldas Risk Management office.

The landslide must be attended to with machinery that we are also coordinating at this moment,” said Paula Villamil, head of Risk Management in Caldas.

It should be noted that,The 32 people trapped are tourists who were hiking in the area between the departments of Caldas and Tolima.so the interruption in the road has prevented them from returning to their places.areas of origin.

At this moment the rescue teams are working to reach the tourist points and ensure the evacuation of people from the emergency zone, Therefore, the use of heavy machinery is being coordinated to clear the landslides and open roads that allow emergency vehicles to pass.
