The first star achieved by Atlético Bucaramanga was celebrated in the city in a responsible manner and with good behavior.

This was confirmed by the Bucaramanga Traffic Director, Carlos Bueno, who assured that after the match in the city of Bogotá was over, the fans of the ‘leopard’ team took out the main roads of the city to celebrate the championship.

In sectors such as Carrera 27, Carrera 33 and the highway towards Floridablanca and Girón, caravans were registered, which moved without public order problems.

“It was an outstanding behavior from our drivers. Everything passed without major setbacks and we can report that during the night and early morning of this Sunday there were no fatalities,” Bueno said.

The person in charge of the Bucaramanga Transit Directorate also highlighted the work of the entity’s officials who were working at night and early in the morning controlling mobility in areas where the first star was celebrated.

“They were in party areas like ‘Cuadra Play’, the Center, around the stadium and the exits towards Floridablanca and Girón. The call is to continue wearing the helmet, not to drive in a state of intoxication,” said the official.

As special measures, the mayor of Bucaramanga, Jaime Andrés Beltrán, had lifted the restriction for motorcycles after midnight on Saturday and four in the morning on Sunday, as well as bars and clubs had an extra hour of service.
