During the control plans carried out by the Traffic Section on the Cesar road axes, within the framework of the Cazador Plan, against automobile theft, in the last week, the recovery of six motorcycles and four high-end vehicles was achieved. They had been reported stolen in different municipalities of the country.

The recovery was achieved thanks to a group of automotive experts, who managed to identify them, since their identification systems were rerecorded.

“This achievement is due to the hard work of the Transit and Transportation Section, which carried out registration and control activities,” said Colonel Eduardo Chamorro Pinzón, commander of the Cesar Police Department. These activities resulted in the capture of 4 people involved in these crimes.

The recovered vehicles are valued at more than $554,000,000 pesos and were left at the disposal of the Attorney General’s Office, where the corresponding administrative acts will be carried out for their return and delivery to the legitimate owners.

The Cesar Police Department will continue to deploy different prevention and control plans to counteract this type of crime and guarantee the safety of citizens.
