The registration meeting for the Provincial Senior Men’s Basketball League was held at the facilities of the Villaguay Medical Circle. This is the first conclave towards the PreFederal 2024 competition, organized and supervised by the Entre Ríos Basketball Federation (FBER).

At the meeting it was confirmed that there are 29 clubs from different locations in the province with the interest of participating in the contest. All of them registered to be part of the championship that will grant ten places for the 2025 Federal League. It is presumed that the championship will be launched on August 2, 2024.

In the next few hours, the FBER is expected to confirm the competition format, the match schedule and other regulatory details. In this framework, the teams registered in the recent meeting are the following:

-Union (Crespo).
-Students (Paraná).
-Paracao (Paraná).
-Independent (La Paz).
-Urquiza (Santa Elena).
-Progreso (Saint Helena).
-Santa Rosa (Chajarí).
-Vélez Sarsfield (Chajarí).
-Students (Concordia).
-Railway (Concordia).
-Railway (San Salvador).
-Sportivo (San Salvador).
-Social Federation.
-Neptunia (Gualeguaychú).
-Central Entrerriano (Gualeguaychú).
-United Youth (Gualeguaychú).
-Luis Luciano (Urdinarrain).
-BH (Gualeguay).
-Banking Center (Gualeguay).
-Hurricane (Villaguay).
-Sarmiento (Villaguay).
-Park (Villaguay).
-Zaninetti (Concepción del Uruguay).

Among these clubs, there are ten that participated in the last Federal League. These are: BH, Atlético Tala, Central Entrerriano (still in competition), Centro Bancario, Parque Sur, Regatas, Ferro de San Salvador, Sportivo Peñarol, Sportivo San Salvador and Unión de Crespo.

The absences of Racing de Gualeguaychú and the Zionist Youth Center of Paraná in the list reported by the FBER are surprising, so news is expected in the next few hours.
