On May 23, authorities carried out a raid on the residence of Luis Alexander Pichuagasuspected of being one of the “founding partners” of Coxtex SA, a company involved in the issuance of fake invoices to justify millionaire disbursements of the Worker Pole.

Pichuaga, despite appearing as Canadian according to his ID, appears to be completely Argentine. The operation at a PH in Floresta not only confirmed Pichuaga’s relationship with Coxtex, but also exposed a much more modest lifestyle than the building’s facade would suggest.

Sharing a small room with his family, his situation contrasts with the financial operations under investigation. According to reports, Pichuaga He appeared unkempt and lived in humble conditions, which adds a layer of complexity to the suspect’s profile.

In addition to Pichuaga, the investigation has extended to other entities and people, including Mariana Soledad Vega, also associated with Coxtex. Vega, who faces similar vulnerabilities, appeared in court on her own behalf to request legal assistance, although she has not yet testified.

The case, which is under the orbit of Judge Sebastián Casanello and prosecutor Gerardo Pollicita, originated with complaints about extortion of beneficiaries of social plans and has led to the revelation of million-dollar fraud against the State. In this context, it was discovered that Coxtex and other companies issued trout bills for a total of 25 million pesos, supposedly for sales of goods and computers.

This network includes several other companies, some of them created for unknown purposes, moving large sums of cash without justifying its origin. The investigation has also focused on certain notaries and lawyers who, allegedly, facilitated the creation of these shell companies, further complicating the case.
