The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports, through the Ministry of Tourism, brought together representatives of the local mining companies in order to establish a strategic alliance that promotes tourism and economic development in the province.
The meeting focused on the mutual collaboration and the creation of new products to strengthen San Juan’s position as a top-level tourist destination.
During the dialogue, both parties agreed on the need to establish an agenda of medium-term actionshighlighting the importance of the synergy between the tourism and mining sectors to promote the sustainable and equitable growth of the province.
As a result of this meeting, it was agreed to coordinate a next meeting where each representative of the mining industry will have the opportunity to present the collaborative work they have been doing with the San Juan community.
This space for open dialogue will be essential to identify areas of opportunity and establish concrete actions that promote the comprehensive development of San Juan.
