This time, the company reported that “the amount of the sale of the shares and the release of liabilities related to cold logistics operations, once the transaction is approved by the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office (FNE) and the suspensive conditions have been met or waived. for its perfection, it will amount to UF 859,044 subject to adjustments and withholdings customary in this type of contracts, with possible upward or downward effects on the price to be paid.” Redmegacentro specified that the firm and other entities in its group “will assume certain non-competition obligations with respect to the cold logistics business under the usual terms and deadlines for this type of operations.”

“This operation responds to Redmegacentro SA’s strategy to continue concentrating on its core business and reduce its debt, in order to strengthen the company’s long-term sustainability,” he stated.

Likewise, he noted, “it is estimated that this operation will generate an approximate profit of $6,000 million”, equivalent to about US$642 million according to the current exchange rate.
