Coviandina, the company in charge of the work on the Bogotá – Villavicencio highway, reported that the recovery efforts of the Quebradablanca tunnel They have reached 96% progress.

This progress has been achieved through a series of activities, the entity said, including the rehabilitation of the Bogotá false portal tunnel, the installation of steel in columns and foundation beams, and the installation of lighting, cameras and signage.
Likewise, footings and beams have been demolished, while the concrete shot with metal fiber and the metal defense are installed, and lighting, cameras and signage are installed.
On another front, the works at the critical site of the kilometer 69+350 They have advanced 80%, corresponding to the first of the four stages of the work being carried out at this point. These advances are part of Coviandina’s commitment to the Bogotá – Villavicencio corridor so that the road infrastructure can come into operation again.
