Mr. Yublin Hurtado, president of the ADEG, pointed out that with 40 teachers from across the department they are joining the Great Takeover of Bogotá starting today, which will last until June 20 of this year.
He says that the Guaviare delegation left from the Enrique Olaya Herrera School and will gather with all the other delegations of the country in the Plaza de Bolívar where they will remain until the National Government responds to the requests of the teaching union in the great takeover of Bogotá. He says that he is concerned about the treatment that is being given to the resources of the General Participation System – SGP, since there is a debt of the Government with the department of Guaviare in terms of infrastructure. The union leader assured that the presence of 15,000 teachers from the country is expected to gather in the Plaza de Bolívar, demanding that the National Government modify the labor reform for the teaching profession that also harms other Colombian unions.
