As the Andalusian Government has specified in a note, this Tuesday, the 18th, there will be a screening, within the cycle dedicated to the latest Uruguayan film production, the documentary bosco, by Alicia Cano Menoni. The filmmaker tells the story of the small Italian town of Bosco di Rossano, immersed in devouring forests in which only 13 inhabitants remain.

“I was always curious about that place that was linked to the story of my grandfather Orlando and his ancestors,” says the filmmaker, and this idea is what she shows in her work, on which she has worked for more than thirteen years and which details the story of his centenary grandfather, Orlando Menoni, descendant of that town lost between Carrara and Massa. With the work, Cano will find more than a town: he will rescue the life that remains when everything seems destined to disappear.
