He Medium Complexity hospital that serves the population of Cutral Co and Plaza Huincul has and his expanded guard. The work demanded two years of execution and in the meantime, contingency care had to be organized. It is a renovated space and a new one. Governor Rolando Figueroa highlighted the possibility of obtaining financing to finish it.
The tasks consisted of building 250 square meters and renovating 195.70 meters. At the inauguration ceremony, the governor Rolando Figueroa highlighted that the execution of this type of works in Argentina requires a lot of understanding and coordinated effort.
In this scenario he placed the mayors of Cutral Co, Ramón Rioseco, and of Huincul, Claudio Larraza; to the councilors; and to the deputies who made it possible to obtain financing, first for the purchase of medicines and then for the infrastructure.
“It allowed us to face everything we do,” Figueroa said and then took a moment to talk about the application of the road tax. “Some of us make mistakes and protest when we have to finance what is precisely what the people of Neuquén do,” said Figueroa.to those who raised criticism of the rate.
He thanked the community that waited and the health personnel. And especially, those who had to manage, such as local officials and deputies. “Governing means facing the problem and not trying to look good for the tribune so that the problems continue to exist,” Figueroa stressed.
Before, the Minister of Health, Martín Regueiro, spoke; the head of Health Zone V, Daniel Conti Tagnali and the director of the hospital, Gastón Zúñiga.
Conti Tagnali thanked the health team that managed to accommodate the contingency plan that had to be made and was not minor, during these two years that the work lasted.
The director, Zúñiga asked the community to enjoy the space and also take care of it. He recalled that the guard will not be attended by order of arrival but by the Triage system.
The expansion of the guard
The works that had a completion period of 240 days consisted of the construction of the patient waiting room. The administration was modified, the toilets for people with disabilities were modified, three medical offices were set up, plus the cleaning office.
There is a sector for the bronchiolytic post and another for nursing that included the reform of the existing nursing. On the upper floor are the guard bedrooms and three bathrooms, kitchen, living and dining room, and access hall.
The renovated sector allows the incorporation of new features on the ground floor, new offices for doctors and nurses, toilets, storage and racking. A staircase was modified to link the existing building with the new upper floor.
Improved exterior access included the installation of washed stone tiles, stairs and smoothed subfloor ramp.
