The leader of Santa Marta, Rosa Villalba – in dialogue with Caracol Radio – recounted the events that occurred in the Minca area when he was captured in photography with alias Camilo, military command of the group Autodefensas Conquistadoras de la Sierra. Villalba pointed out that the event was not Fuerza Ciudadana and that behind his “greeting” there was no political campaign of the left movement.

He insisted that the scenario was a social-health day to which the people of Minca and not political actors like the former candidate for Mayor, Patricia Caicedo Omar.

Regarding the reason for the dialogue with alias Camilo, Rosa Villalba expressed that “He approached me to ask the MAPP OAS to set up the Peace Office and ask the National Government to move forward with the processes so that there are no more conflicts in the Sierra.”

When asked whether or not he is a member of Fuerza Ciudadana, The leader emphasized that she is not only a member of the movement but is also a defender of human rights. and as such, “it is interested in the peace of the territory” and in search of that step it advances in dialogues with those who intend a ceasefire.
