All those healthcare centers authorized by the Ministry of Health to provide hospitalization services, within the framework of what is established by current provincial and national regulations, that accredit their establishment in La Pampa will be favored by this Program.
Its objective is to “promote the coordinated approach to healthcare problems; implement cooperation and training actions; promote prevention measures; support the maintenance of benefits and develop joint strategies for the continuous improvement of their quality,” said the Undersecretary of Health, Gustavo Vera. All of these actions are designed to guarantee health rights to all Pampas.
The provincial health system requires the private subsector to provide services in an efficient and sustained manner, since it complements the services provided by public establishments. “We are not competitive but complementary,” Vera clarified.
“In a context of profound economic crisis as a result of the measures implemented by the National Executive Branch, the Government of La Pampa seeks to generate actions to strengthen and complement the health care system, always prioritizing the health of all the Pampas.” , assured the official.
Later, the undersecretary highlighted: “A great job of complementarity is being done between the subsectors. Everyone will remember that something similar happened during the pandemic, it was by working together that we were able to assist the population in an adequate way. The same happens with the work carried out in prevention campaigns. Another clear example is the Simulation Center, located at the Lucio Molas Hospital, which enables continuous and permanent training and development of all health teams in the Province. “It is about joining efforts for the benefit of the community.”
Vera concluded by saying that the provincial government “understands the importance of strengthening the provincial Health Network to provide timely assistance throughout the territory” and highlighted that “working in a complementary manner between the public and private subsectors is essential, because it optimizes available resources, guarantees comprehensive, equitable and quality care for all citizens. We all have a common goal which is to achieve the best care for patients throughout the Province.”
