The General Council of Education (CGE) concluded with the delivery of the literacy program books that include eight titles designed for primary schools in all departments.
“We are happy since each child now has their own copy and the teachers have the necessary bibliographic material to enrich their teaching of reading,” stressed the president of the CGE, Alicia Fregonese, and added that “this achievement is the result of the firm commitment of the provincial government to literacy.”
For first grade students, the novels “Animated Days” and “Animated Days Activities” have been delivered, while for second grade students “Mystery on the Hill” and “Stories with Surprises and Picardies.” This year, two new copies have been added, “Ventisquero”, an anthology of stories for third grade, and “Días Animados Activities 2nd Plurigrade”, aimed at students from rural schools in the Paraná department.
Teachers have also received their own material, which includes the novels and activities of “Días Animados”, “Mystery on the Hill”, “Stories with Surprises and Picardies”, “Orientations for Teachers”, as well as the new title “Ventisquero” .
“These resources, both in print and digital format, allow our students to take the books to their homes and also allow teachers to have the tools to enrich the teaching of writing, reading and reading comprehension, thus guaranteeing literacy in primary schools. ”, remarked the primary level director of the CGE, Diana Carmaran,
Finally, Carmaran mentioned that “they are organizing book reception parties in schools, where not only are the books delivered, but recreational activities are also carried out for students, the educational community and families.”
