The Minister of Labor and Employment, Sonia Castiglione, and the Minister of Education, Pablo López Silva, met with representatives of the UNIR University to promote continuous training and professional development in the province.

Within the framework of the collaboration agreement signed with the Argentine Chamber for Vocational Training and Job Training, the Minister of Labor and Employment, Sonia Castiglione, and the Minister of Education, Pablo López Silva, received a visit from Javier Arteaga, Director of International Expansion, and Guillermo Suárez, Country Manager of the UNIR University of Spain, with the aim of expanding educational opportunities in Tierra del Fuego.

During the meeting, the current realities of the province were addressed, identifying areas for improvement and possible synergies with UNIR. The collaboration aims to expand the scope of internationally recognized programs and certifications, thus promoting education and job growth for companies in the province.

One of the central points of the meeting was the projection of an agreement that will open the door to new training in various essential skills for professional development. This agreement is aimed at promoting continuing education, aligning with the province’s sustainable growth objectives.

Minister Castiglione highlighted the importance of this meeting, stating that “this collaboration with UNIR University will allow us to enhance educational, training and work capabilities, providing our community with various training tools that are essential for their professional and personal development. “This meeting is a significant step on the path towards a future with more opportunities for our people and sustainable growth for the province.”

For his part, the Minister of Education, Pablo López Silva, stated that “it is essential to work collaboratively between the public and private, to continue strengthening tools that unite education with work for our citizens of Tierra del Fuego.”
