There is commotion in the high mountains, since the discovery of the lifeless body of a truck driver triggers multiple hypotheses about what could have happened. Several days ago, a group of freight transport workers noticed the absence of one of their colleagues, whom they had not seen leave his vehicle and they themselves notified the police to resolve the mystery.
The body corresponds to a citizen Chilean, 57 years old of age that was found inside his vehicle in the parking lot of the Integrated Control Area (ACI) in Uspallata. Scientific Police and the Forensic Medical Corps will determine when he died and what happened to him.
Police and National Gendarmerie personnel surrounded the entire place until the Scientific Police carry out the corresponding expert reports and remove the victim’s body to be transferred to the Forensic Medical Corps.

The discovery occurred on Monday morning in the ACI parking lot located on Route 7 in Uspallata, 120 kilometers from the City of Mendoza.where the trucks clear Customs and wait for the reopening of the passage to Chile to continue their journey to the neighboring country.
