Pride 2024 in Colombia: more than 40 cities will have LGBTIQ+ Pride marches

More than four decades have passed since the first LGBTIQ+ Pride march in Colombia, the first time the rainbow flag was waved publicly was in Bogotá, on June 28, 1983. From that moment until today, Bogotá has been the epicenter of the largest LGBTIQ+ mobilizations in the entire country, followed by cities such as Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla and Cartagena. However, diversity exists throughout the country and the Caribbean Affirmative Corporation made a list of more than 40 cities that this year will mobilize to celebrate diversity, love in all its forms and the vindication of the rights of this historically marginalized population. .
