In the early morning of this Tuesday, June 18the collapse of three buildings was recordedapparently, due to an excavation that was being carried out in the Doce de Octubre neighborhood, located in the town of Barrios Unidos.

The collapse, which occurred in a commercial home where carpets were sold, It damaged at least two more stores, a church and an area where furniture and mattresses were distributed.

According to traders in the sector, in conversations with CityTVat the site of the collapse “there was a modern building, but later they broke and excavated, causing the collapsed construction to suffer a lot,” added a merchant.

Likewise, he commented that the carpet store was having problems, given that, for example, the bars were increasingly difficult in April. At the same time, it was already the second time that the windows were replaced because they broke for no reason.

“This disaster was seen coming, but no one reported it”he added.

According to the images recorded by the aforementioned media, the commercial home split in two, causing serious material damage.
