A macabre event occurred this Monday in the Las Granjas neighborhood, in Manrique. To the police station of said commune A 16-year-old minor showed up and told the uniformed officers present that he was turning himself in because he had just murdered a man with a knife.
According to the partial report so far provided by the authorities, the young man not only confessed to the crime, but also provided details of how he did it. Before the astonished police officers, the minor narrated that after murdering the man he dismembered him and threw parts of his body in various places.
Immediately, a team left the station towards the points that the young man gave in the story and, indeed, after several minutes of searching, they found wooded area of the neighborhood the arms, head and legs of the victim, whose identity has not yet been revealed.

In his story, the young man assured that the dismembered man entered his home to attack them with a knife and he defended himself. For now, waiting for the police and the Mayor’s Office to expand details of the case, It was learned that the minor was left in charge of the childhood and adolescence unit.
This case reminded us of another that shocked Medellín on October 25, 2022when the police arrested a motorcyclist and his grill in Laureles after the city’s security cameras followed them for several blocks when they exhibited strange behavior and carried with them huge black bags and a suitcase.

When requested for an investigation, the uniformed officers found the arms and legs of a man. Faced with such a discovery, the two young people, one 23 years old and the other just turned 18, were captured and the bags were taken to Forensic Medicine, where it was determined that they also carried the torso.
The cameras identified that the young people left to take the tour from the sector known as the Light of the World, in Comuna 13, one of the hottest areas of the city.
