Colombia had a brilliant match in its second outing of the Copa América taking place in the United States. The national team beat Costa Rica with several goals and one of them was scored by one of the team’s center backs, Dávinson Sánchez.
After opening the scoring in the first half thanks to a penalty from Luis Díaz, the Galatasaray defender increased the national team’s lead.
Meanwhile, it came through a set piece, which Sánchez took advantage of to score a header that gave the national team peace of mind.

After being injured in the first match against Paraguay, the Italian football centre-back was unable to play in the match against Costa Rica.
His return is still unknown, as it is not known when he will recover.
For this reason, in the midst of doubts, Dávinson Sánchez decided to dedicate the goal to his teammate, showing his shirt to the stands, where the defender was.
