A total success was the participation of the Colombian kitchen team, made up of chefs Paula Castillo, Adrián Gerbois, Dominique Oudin and led by the Colombian chef Diego Torreswho qualified for the grand final of the renowned world cooking competition Bocuse D’ORwhich will be held in January 2025 in Lyon, France.

Colombiareceived the award for Best Dish of the Competition, where they had to prepare two wild boar ribs, accompanied by two vegetarian side dishes, highlighting Colombian products. On the other hand, the chef Paula Castillowas also recognized for her work, her organization and her maturity, winning the award for the Best Cooking Commiesduring the competition.

In this sense, the chef Dominique Oudinwho worked with Paul Bocuse and is the president of Competition in Colombia He says: “We are happy to reach the final of the world contest for the third consecutive time, what it shows us is the high quality we have in the country in terms of talent, creativity and fresh gastronomic proposals in line with global trends.”

For the chef Carlos Pájaro, first Colombian chef to represent Colombia in this competition and current director of the Competition in Colombia, states that “our team worked tirelessly and the fruits could not be better than taking Colombia back to the grand world final. Now our goal is set in France, where our team led by chef Diego Torres will continue to demonstrate the high level of Colombian gastronomy.”

The renowned culinary competition Bocuse D’ORis celebrated every two years and participates the best chefs from 22 leading countries in world cuisine.
