In order to prevent the distribution, sale and consumption of illegal liquors, beers and cigarettes, the Anti-Smuggling Group of the department of Casanare, carried out in more than 30 commercial establishments in Yopal, control of the legality of the payment of the consumption tax, as well as the proper bearing of the stamp on these products.
The day allowed both merchants and shopkeepers to learn the keys to identifying cigarettes and illegal liquor, as well as recognizing their adulteration.
Likewise, the Revenue operational group provided them with tools that allow them to counteract smuggling, inviting them to remain committed to the legal commercialization and revitalization of the Casanareña economy.
The Ministry of Finance, together with the Casanare Anti-Smuggling Program, and the National Federation of Departments FND, expressed their efforts to mitigate the scourge of smuggling, supervising and controlling the legality of merchandise throughout the region with the #PillaLaEstampilla campaign.
