After being rescheduled, the Provincial Envero Festival will take place on June 22 and 23, in San Martín, precisely at the Las Bóvedas museum. This important event is organized by Emetur, the Institute of Rural Development (IDR) and the Olive Association of Mendoza (Asolmen).

As part of the extra long weekend that will run from June 20 to 23, throughout the country, the Provincial Veraison Festival will be held, a meeting that will bring together olive producers in the province.

The event will feature food courts, tastings and tasting of extra virgin olive oils. In advance of the opening of the event, olive trees will be planted in the “Francisco” Congress Center located in the Agnesi Park in San Martín.

In addition, there will be different shows where the Cancionero Cuyano will be present, with performances by Marcelino Azaguate, the Raíces Huarpes Municipal Ballet, Rosa Chiquini, Dúo Busto/Mercado, Cara y Cepa and Roberto Mercado. The departments that will participate in this first meeting will be San Martín, Maipú, Guaymallén, Lavalle, Junín, Rivadavia, San Rafael and Luján de Cuyo.

Veraison is the process in which the olive goes from being green to taking on violet or black tones and is the moment in which the olive is ready to begin producing extra virgin olive oils early and before reaching its maturity. point of full maturity.
