The city of Cordoba paid an emotional tribute to the poet and writer from Córdoba Daniel Salzano within the framework of the Night of Readings, an initiative that seeks to celebrate local literary identity.
On June 6, The Undersecretary of Tourism organized a free tour of the places that marked the life and work of Salzano, allowing participants to delve into their deep connection with the city.
A journey in the footsteps of Salzano
The guided tour began at the Historical City Council, and then went to to the traditional Sorocabana Bar, where a sculpture of the poet remembers him sitting at his usual table, ordering his favorite drink: “a tear.”
The tour continued towards the Rubén Libros bookstorewhere attendees were received by its owner to share anecdotes and personal experiences with Salzano.
The tribute to Salzano was part of the Night of Readings, an initiative that seeks to rescue the identity value of local literature.
They also visited the Municipal Cineclub or the Spain-Córdoba Cultural Centerkeys in the poet’s life.
The guided tour, in addition to visiting emblematic places in the city, included the reading of fragments of Salzano’s work, performed by prominent Córdoban actors.
