This long weekend, Jujuy will become the epicenter of symphonic music and teacher training with a training course, organized by the Música con Alas Foundation in collaboration with the Higher Institute of Art and the Higher School of Music of the province. This event, which celebrates its third year, will culminate with a great concert by the NOA Symphony Orchestra at the Miter Theater, on Sunday, June 23 at 7:30 p.m., with free admission.
Analía Sivila, President of the Música con Alas Foundation, highlighted the importance of this teacher training course, “It is the third year that we do this training course where the Educando Foundation bets on our province with the training of directors and musicians”. In addition, he maintained that it will have a great closing at the Miter Theater, where the great NOA Symphony Orchestra will participate, composed of musicians from Jujuy, Salta and Tucumán, accompanied by choirs from Jujuy.
About the training of teachers from Jujuy
The training will have the participation of teacher Daniel Ingignoli, who expressed his enthusiasm, to be once again in the province, “several years ago we came to work in Jujuy, and each year we try to incorporate a repertoire that is a little more difficult, more interesting, and complex. It will range from the symphony of Beethoven to a conga by Arturo Márquez, going through different styles,” he said.
In addition, Ingignoli highlighted the pedagogical approach of the course, “the intention is for them to work directly with the orchestras, so that they can gain knowledge and conduct.” The main objective, according to the lawyer, is for attendees to learn, advance and grow in orchestral conducting, and for “the public to also appreciate the music that we are going to make for them,” he explained.
Sunday with orchestral music at the Miter
Analía Sivila invited the general public to be part of this great closing in the main coliseum of the capital of Jujuy, an event that promises to be a celebration of music and education, bringing together musicians and directors from different provinces in a show that will not only delight attendees, but will also contribute to the professional growth of the teachers involved. Admission to said concert will be free of charge, on a first-come, first-served basis, and without the need to collect tickets in advance.
