In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and Biologist’s Day, the Faculty of Agrarian Sciences of the National University of Jujuy organized the Open Chair of Biology Day 2024. This event, held at the Dr. School of Mines. Horacio Carrillo, had the participation of the Ministry of Education through the stand of the Science Laboratory of the Conectar Lab Innovation Center.
On this day, Conectar Lab joined with the pedagogical proposal of the Escuela Espacio through its Science laboratory, sharing with those present various elements that are used in the laboratory. One of these elements was a Leica binocular magnifying glass, which was used to carry out an observation experience through magnified lenses. In this activity, participants had the opportunity to observe a sample of insects and amphibians.
In addition, a chemistry kit was presented, with which a physical-chemical experience was carried out that was both colorful and playful, allowing attendees to enjoy and learn about chemical reactions and processes in an interactive way.
Javier Paniagua, coordinator of the Innovation Center, highlighted the relevance of these meetings to share knowledge and show the public the scientific work carried out by Conectar Lab.

The event made visible the collaboration between the academic field and the Ministry of Education, highlighting the fundamental role of biology in the understanding and conservation of our environment.
