A city tour welcomed representatives from different provinces in Cienfuegos who are holding meetings and participating until June 21 in the National Council of the Hermanos Saíz Association from the central-southern territory.
Yasel Toledo Garnache, writer, journalist and national president of the AHS told the radio the value of these meetings, as they allow the analysis of the organization’s operation in recent and future months, appreciate main results, concerns, and know how the relationship with the institutional system of culture.
Toledo Garnache highlighted among the points of analysis, the cultural programming for the summer in the provinces, the experiences of the artistic Crusades in rural and intricate areas, the Art Unites Us Campaign, and the approval of new creative projects with the El Reino Scholarship from this world.
The program transcends these days the visit and exchange with the actress Ana María Salas, creator of the memorable character Toqui, also with the Youth Teacher Rosa Campo, the well-known Tía Rosa, the meeting with students from the Benny Moré Provincial School of Art , as well as the National Council Meeting, the tour of the Jagua Fortress, and the Aycayía Community Sociocultural Project in Junco Sur.
In the last days of the National Council of the Hermanos Saíz Association from Cienfuegos, the delegations plan a tour of the El Jovero Community in Cumanayagua, Crucecitas, Cuatro Viento, also along the Nicho trails, and will include the ascent to Pico San Juan and the visit to the Weather Radar.
Young writers and artists from the country on a working visit this week also debate the work of the five AHS publishing houses and the international projection of the organization, among other topics.
According to the organizers, with the premise that art and love for Cuba always unite them, on this visit the members of the young artistic avant-garde have the challenge of ascending Pico San Juan, the highest point in the central region of the country. .
