The head of Government began his tour of the Siguaney Cement Company, accompanied by the commander of the Revolution, Ramiro Valdés.
As reported by the official account of the Cuban Government on the social network X, Marrero evaluated the economic indicators of the factory and was interested in the workers’ salaries.
In this sense, he indicated looking for alternatives to continue increasing remuneration, based on all productions.
The prime minister also visited the premises occupied by the MSME (micro, small or medium-sized enterprise) Rioca, located in the factory itself and which is dedicated to manufacturing blocks without the use of cement and adocrete slabs.
According to the local newspaper Escambray, the headline reviewed the self-consumption of the Siguaney Cement Company, which supplies food, vegetables, grains and fruit trees to workers’ canteens and also allows sales to workers.
Vice prime ministers and heads of several ministries visited the eight municipalities of Sancti Spiritus this Wednesday to verify the work carried out in the province. It is the fourth government visit to Sancti Spíritus.
