Shortly before concluding this Thursday the government visit to this central province, which began the day before, and accompanied by Antonio Rodríguez, president of the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources, Chapman indicated that “good practices must be generalized.”

In a meeting with Emilio Hernández, director of the Company, and Emilio Lázaro Miguel Donato, technical-commercial director, he added that “You have a commercial task to do, you must make yourself known, you require a specialized level and attract young people.”

Meanwhile, in exclusive statements to Prensa Latina, he stated that Panelec is an example of a company that has been growing, without stopping, despite the intensification of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States government against Cuba.

It is a company that was born, it started small and it is now going to be a state MSME with production, it contributes to the economy and development, with profits, it contributes to the entity, the municipality and the entire country, because it is everywhere. It is an example of good practices, he highlighted.

He pointed out that it has already been approved as a state-run MSME (micro, small and medium-sized enterprise) and is now directing its steps towards that management model, an entity that started with few workers several years ago, he noted.

“He has been growing from the work he has. It manufactures electrical panels that serve the operating system of pumping equipment in aqueducts and water treatment plants and must progress with other objectives, with results,” he stated.

After a previous visit, he indicated, it is seen that it has been developing in structure, today they are transforming their reality and recruiting young people, in order to continue the work of this state MSME, so important for the entire hydraulic sector in the country.

In all institutions and organizations there are hydraulic installations. They can import the necessary elements and make the boards here and that is taking a little bit of the problem away and substituting imports, he added.

Subsequently, he toured new areas already completed in the center and others to be concluded that will offer greater comfort to the group, made up of 21 workers.

The deputy prime minister, when attending the conclusions of the government visit, said that this is a province with great potential, with an effective application of science and innovation, and that must be taken advantage of in local development.

At the headquarters of the Provincial Government, where the conclusions took place, the work of the Subsidiary Company Panelec was highlighted.

Chapman and Rodríguez held a work meeting the day before at the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power in the southern town of Trinidad, whose historic urban center was declared Cultural Heritage of Humanity by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization in 1988. and Culture.

There they confirmed the installation of a new pump in the West 1 system, which should improve the water supply to the lower area of what is known as the Museum City of the Caribbean.
