The Private Technological University of Santa Cruz (UTEPSA) invites the entrepreneurial community of Santa Cruz to the sixteenth edition of the JETS event (Business, Technological, Social and Humanistic Conferences), from June 25 to 28, 2024. Recognized as the largest event university of innovation and entrepreneurship in the region, JETS has been organized annually by UTEPSA for 16 years.
This year, celebrating UTEPSA’s 30 years, the central theme is: “Three decades of training in entrepreneurship and service,” highlighting the essence of our university. The event will include a series of activities designed to promote comprehensive entrepreneurship training for students and the community in general.
During JETS 2024, attendees will be able to listen to and share experiences with renowned professionals from the best universities in the world. Featured speakers include:
- David Capistran, Doctor in Administrative Sciences from the Tec. de Monterrey, Mexico.
- Javier Aroztegui, Doctor in Psychology from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain.
- Ken Singer, Chief Learning Officer and MD of Berkeley CA, USA.
- Gustavo Pérez, MSc. in Telecommunications and Telematics from UTEPSA, Bolivia.
- Raúl Eduardo Rodríguez, Doctor in Education from the Simón Bolívar University, Colombia.
- Diana Marcela Pantaleon, Doctor in Education from the Simón Bolívar University, Colombia.
Workshops and Leisure Activities
JETS 2024 will offer more than 24 practical workshops to acquire new professional skills and 11 recreational activities that will allow attendees to have fun while reinforcing their skills. Some of these activities include:

JETS 2024 will also feature special events such as the Entrepreneurship Gala, where the “Academy Award for Entrepreneurship” will be awarded to outstanding entrepreneurs, and the Entrepreneurs Summit, designed so that UTEPSA entrepreneurs can showcase their emerging companies and receive advice of experts. Other notable events include the Project Fair and the Meeting of Leaders in Entrepreneurship and Service.
The membership fee to participate in all JETS 2024 activities is 130 bolivianos for UTEPSA students, which includes a certificate and a commemorative t-shirt. The registration cost for external audiences is 200 bolivianos. Registration can be done at the Student Assistance Services, the Secretary’s Office of each Faculty and the Systems Laboratory, with specific opening hours.
